Over the past ten years I have been collecting information relating to the Warboys
name. During this time I have collated the names from the Family Record
Center in London relating to the births, deaths and marriages registered since 1837. In
some cases it has been possible to produce family groups. My aim is to connect as
many branches as possible.
In the Ashwell parish the priest changed in 1810 and the spelling changed from
Warboys to Worboys. The priest stayed for about 35 years so the spelling
became permanent.
